Congratulations to all our Year 13 students for achieving a truly outstanding set of A-Level and Level 3 BTEC results. The overall A*-A pass rate was an amazing 60%, with 95% of students achieving grades A*-C and 100% achieving grades A-E, representing The Vale’s best-ever set of sixth form results. This is testament to the consistent hard work and dedication of students, teachers and parents alike throughout what has been a challenging year.
There were also many notable individual success stories, including four students who each gained three A* grades, a remarkable achievement. Of these, Hannah Taylor has accepted a place at Cambridge University to study Archaeology, Oliver Zaitschenko will be attending the University of Sheffield to study Medicine, James Taylor will be reading Electronic and Information Engineering at Imperial College London and Noah Hardy will be heading to Leeds University to study Civil Engineering
We are immensely proud of all of our students and we wish them well as they now embark on the next stage of their education or employment. A full list of all student achievements and destinations will be published on our post-16 pages once these have been confirmed.
A superb performance- well done to you all!
