Hour of Code

Students and parents from local primary schools were invited to take part in the 2024 Hour of Code by The Vale Academies Computer Science Department. Each parent and child had to solve a series of computational thinking puzzles and code solution using Minecraft Education.

The Hour of Code is a worldwide movement that aims to introduce millions of students to computer science through one-hour coding activities. Through Hour of Code, we aim to demystify coding and show that anyone can learn the basics, inspiring future interest in computer science.
