The Vale Academy takes self-evaluation extremely seriously. If audits of performance are not undertaken it is impossible to identify improvement priorities. The processes of self-evaluation and improvement planning are continuous and documentation is constantly updated. The Senior Leadership Team produces and updates the Self Evaluation Form and The Academy Improvement Plan immediately following the A/AS and GCSE results and Curriculum Leaders use these documents to inform their own self-evaluation and planning. In addition to examination results and student assessment data, teacher observation, scrutiny of marking and stakeholder voice activities contribute to our judgments.
